2. Data Collected

  • Google account information — name, email address, Google account ID — collected via Google OAuth 2.0 at sign-in and refreshed on each login.
  • OAuth tokens — access token and refresh token — stored in our database to maintain your connection to the YouTube API between sessions.
  • YouTube broadcast data — title, description, scheduled date/time, privacy settings, and broadcast options for each live stream you create through LiveScheduler. Stored in our database and synced with YouTube via the YouTube Data API v3.
  • Timezone — your browser's IANA timezone string (e.g. Europe/Paris), auto-detected on first sign-in.
  • Language preference — stored to display the interface in your chosen language.
  • Error and diagnostics data — via Sentry, error reports including your pseudonymous user identifier (UUID) are transmitted when an error occurs, for the sole purpose of debugging. No email address or IP address is transmitted.
  • Audience analytics — via Matomo (self-hosted), cookieless, IP-anonymized, and never shared with third parties. Configured in compliance with CNIL exemption guidelines.
  • Billing data (Pro subscribers only) — Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, and subscription status. LiveScheduler never stores card numbers or payment details — these are processed exclusively by Stripe.

3. YouTube API Services

LiveScheduler uses the YouTube API Services. By using our service you also agree to the Google Privacy Policy.

We request the youtube.force-ssl OAuth scope to manage YouTube live broadcasts on your behalf. We use this access exclusively to:

  • Create scheduled live broadcasts according to your recurrence rules
  • Update broadcast settings (title, description, date, privacy) at your request
  • Delete broadcasts at your request
  • Upload custom thumbnails to your broadcasts
  • Sync broadcast data back from YouTube when you request it

We do not share your YouTube data with any third party and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the LiveScheduler service.

LiveScheduler's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke LiveScheduler's access to your Google account at any time from your Google security settings. Following revocation, we will delete all YouTube-related data stored on our servers within 30 calendar days.

7. Required vs. Optional Data

Providing your Google account and authorizing YouTube API access is required to use LiveScheduler — without it the service cannot function. Timezone and language preference are collected automatically to improve your experience.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (art. 15) — obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification (art. 16) — correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure (art. 17) — request deletion of your data
  • Right to restriction (art. 18) — limit how your data is used
  • Right to data portability (art. 20) — receive your data in a structured format
  • Right to object (art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interest

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@live-scheduler.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. In France: cnil.fr.

9. Audience Analytics

LiveScheduler uses Matomo Analytics in cookieless mode. No cookie or persistent identifier is stored on your device. Matomo generates a temporary, server-side anonymized identifier (config_id) derived from your browser and IP address. This identifier is rotated every 24 hours — it cannot be linked to any visit from a previous day. IP addresses are anonymized before any processing. No data is shared with third parties.

Because no cookie or persistent tracker is used, there is no cookie to refuse. If you wish to request deletion of analytics data associated with your session, contact us at contact@live-scheduler.com.

10. Automated Decision-making

LiveScheduler does not make any automated decisions (including profiling) that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
